Dear Member, Competitior, Official, Marshal past and present.

As you may be aware the club celebrates 50 years of the creation of Doune Hillclimb the king of hills this year.

The committee met to discuss the arrangements for our June event to mark this significant date.

A list of competitors, officials and marshals from the original event who are still with us has been compiled and it is hoped as many of them as possible can attend. If you know of anyone that might be interested please pass this message on.

There will be a selection  of historic vehicles making a convoy run up the hill along with the possibility of many more on static display.

On Saturday night there will be a hog roast along with accompanying salads and deserts, we have hired a marquee and live music will be played throughout the evening with dancing until 11pm, the cost per head will be £10,  less than the full cost which is being subsidised by the club.

We will also be providing Members and Competitors with a commemorative piece as well as other merchandise being available for sale.

We would like to see as many past attendees to Doune as possible at this event, if you have any questions please drop us a line at:  doune50th@dounehillclimb.co.uk

As the club also celebrates 70 years since it’s inception this year, please come along and enjoy the experience that can only be Doune.

We look forward to welcoming you to Doune 23/24 June 2018.

Kind regards
Tim Thomson
